Hatha is a wonderful blend of poses, focusing on mobility, posture, alignment, strength and increased flexibility. You will progress through the weeks, being given a variety of options to suit your growth and development. Personal Anatomy is considered and evaluated to assist in your safe and mindful practice.
Beginner: New to Yoga? Starting from scratch, basic poses, alignment, posture, muscle mechanics, breath work and more. Gentle and progressive.
Hatha & Fascial Movement:
Move with the latest research on Myofascial Lines, which transmit force and movement, providing dynamic stability, natural tissue elasticity, adaptability and tone, and increase sensory awareness. Experience corresponding yoga movements to enhance perception, create a sense of openness, balance, strength, stability and connectedness. Your body will look and feel amazing!
Lunch Hour Flow:
New for Fall 2019, join Wendy for an hour flow class. A great way to integrate movement into your work day!
Restorative, Yin & Meditation : This class will combine the benefits of both Restorative, Yin along with meditation. The use of props for Restorative allow for deep grounding support, shifting your awareness into rest and relaxation mode. The passive Yin approach allows the participant to release into various poses or asanas for 3-5 minutes, working on the connective tissues and fascia. Our mental self becomes quiet and restful, increasing energy flow throughout the body. Transitioning into meditation, then to final adult nap time - Savasana. A blissful way to end your day.
Yoga Thrive for Cancer/Yoga Therapy
This 10-12 week program is catered towards those with diagnosis, in treatment or in recovery (immediate and long term) from Cancer, Chronic Pain, Severe Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, etc. A progressive format will assist to improve energy, balance, movement and lesson the effects of fatigue. Our class focus will be directed to your weekly needs, and incorporate Therapeutic Poses, Breath Focus, Myofascial work and Mobility. Support members are encouraged to participate in all classes with you.

This program will progress our meditation and breath work, developing a weekly (daily) practice. We will learn Pranayamas, Mantra Meditation, Guided Meditations & Gong, ending in a lengthy Savasana. This program will reduce stress and anxiety, restore and revitalize your energy and balance the mind body and essential spirit!
Kundalini Yoga uses breath, exercise, mantra & meditation to stimulate the powerful chakras, increasing the life force energy within the body. Balances your energy channels, allowing them to be energized, cleansed and your connection with the Divine to be established. Ideal for those looking to enhance the spiritual energy and connection within.
Mom's-to-be are welcome to any of our Hatha or Kundalini classes, with the exception of warm/hot classes. Be sure to inform our Yoga Teachers of your expectancy and fill out this Pregnancy Par-q for class.
Personal sessions are ideal to design a practice specific to your needs. Whether it be to improve the lower back, flexibility for specific muscles or to improve posture and joint mobility, this class is for you. Can be an add-on to your massage treatment or booked on its own.
