Yoga is an ancient practice encompassing Pranayamas, Meditation and Asanas. At EarthlyEssentials we have a variety of programs to meet your interest. Our Registered seasonal sessions run from 8 to 12 weeks pending the season, focusing on progression to build your practice from the ground up. We look forward to sharing with you. Namaste.
Hatha Yoga & Variations
Hatha is a wonderful blend of poses, focusing on posture, alignment, strength and increased flexibility. You will progress through the weeks, being given a variety of options to suit your growth and development.
We have a variety of Hatha classes:
Beginner: New to Yoga? Starting from scratch, basic poses, alignment, posture, muscle mechanics, breath work and more. Gentle and progressive
Hatha Flow: For those practicing for a while who wish to have more movement and fluidity in practice.
Warm Hatha: Our room is heated with two infrared heaters, to create a space for maximum movement, flexibility as well as deep relaxation and healing. A class you will warmly love.
Fit & Flow: A full body yoga workout! Aimed at strengthening major muscle groups with repetitive postures and flow. Hey, maybe even some TRX! You will love this new program!
Prenatal: Mom's-to-be are welcome to any of our Hatha or Kundalini classes, with the exception of warm/hot classes. Be sure to inform our Yoga Teachers of your expectancy and fill out this Pregnancy Par-q for class.
Yin: Postures are held for a period of time, facilitating release of fascia and promoting well being. Deeply relaxing and opening.
Restorative: Supported postures allow for deep mental, physical relaxation, promoting spiritual well being. Excellent for high stress, anxiety, high blood pressure, etc.
Chair Yoga: For those with low mobility, joint issues. Excellent for ROM, balance, and strength. Gentle movement with body awareness and focus on progression. Main level, front door access.
