Learn how to move properly, safely, and effectively in order to optimize your training sessions. This six week program takes you from the basics (muscle activations, breathing, neutral spine, and setting your shoulder girdle) all the way to major compound movements (squat, deadlift, shoulder press, and bent over row). You will learn how to improve your musculoskeletal health through strength, mobility, and stability exercises. The benefits? Improved quality of life, enhanced daily function, reduced/eliminated low back pain, and increased confidence. Each session includes instruction, demonstration, a workout, and a take-home exercise program. Limited enrolment.

Keira has over six years of experience as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She possesses a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Human Kinetics and a Bachelor of Education with specializations in Biology and Health & Physical Education. She is a certified personal trainer with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology. Most recently, she has been working as a fitness and sports instructor for the Canadian Armed Forces at various bases in Ottawa, as well as overseas on deployment.
